Soule started with a simple frustration on the basketball court.

As a lifelong hooper, who has also played college ball in North Carolina, I’ve gone through more pairs of basketball shoes in my life than I can count. Every-time the traction wears out long before the rest of the shoe does. Shoes I love end up getting replaced just because the grip is gone.

That never made sense to me.

My lifelong friend/longtime teammate and I started thinking about a better solution to this issue. Instead of replacing the entire shoe, what if you could simply replace the part that wears out?

That idea became Soule.

We're a team from North Carolina chasing a big dream — to make basketball more accessible, more affordable, and safer for hoopers all over the world. We believe real change in the world often starts by solving one small problem the right way.

Soule is our first step.
