Our Story
Soule started with a frustration every hooper knows.
As a lifelong basketball player who’s competed at the college level in North Carolina, I’ve gone through more pairs of basketball shoes than I can count. And every time, the same thing happened — the traction wore out long before the rest of the shoe did.
Shoes I loved… still comfortable, still broken in… ended up sitting on the shelf just because the grip was gone.
That never made sense.
So my lifelong friend and longtime teammate and I started asking a simple question:
Why replace the whole shoe… when only one part wears out?
That question turned into an idea.
And that idea became Soule.
We’re a team from North Carolina chasing a big dream: to make basketball more accessible, more affordable, and safer for hoopers everywhere.
Soule is our first step.
